The MB 248 has everything that characterises proven VIKING quality: sophisticated technology, ergonomic equipment, reliable engine performance and sound workmanship. With a cutting width of 46 centimetres, the manoeuvrable lawn mower is ideal for small and medium-sized lawns of up to approx. 1,200 square metres.
It also demonstrates its strengths in gardens with lots of corners.
Whether your garden is large or small, expectations on the lawn mower remain the same. For this reason, VIKING sets high standards for all of its lawn mowers. With regard to operation and handling, the MB 248 is on a par with VIKING machines from higher series and impresses with a good price/performance ratio.
Numerous details of the compact garden aid reflect the expertise of the premium brand manufacturer. Many practical solutions, high-grade materials and sound workmanship make it a reliable partner. The sturdy sheet steel housing and the robust engine guarantee a long service life. An example of the well-conceived technology is the double ball-beared wheels. They provide for very smooth running and keep the mower well on track. Power and performance are provided by the new Briggs & Stratton 450 Series engine. And the MB 248 is also uncompromising in the area of safety: the Motorstop function guarantees high protection. It is activated by releasing the safety lever on the handlebar.
Highlift blades create an attractive cutting pattern
In gardens with lots of corners, the MB 248 achieves top form. The manoeuvrable petrol mower easily negotiates boundaries and obstacles. Responsible for the attractive cutting pattern are the special highlift blades. These create a strong air current, which lifts the grass. The sharp blades then cut the grass blades cleanly. The rear discharge easily copes with even large quantities of clippings. There is plenty of room for these in the large, fabric grass catcher bag with a volume of 45 litres. The cutting height can be quickly adjusted to seven possible settings from 25 to 75 millimetres.
Typical for all VIKING mowers is the comfortable cleaning position: the machine is tilted into the vertical position. Clipping residues can then be easily removed. With the handlebar folded, the mower can be transported easily and stored until the next operation with a minimum space requirement.
