New Managing Director for STIHL Tirol as of 2023

Jan Grigor Schubert will become the new managing director of STIHL Tirol GmbH on 1 January 2023. He succeeds Clemens Schaller, who will go into well-deserved retirement when his contract ends on 31 December 2022. As the long-standing managing director of STIHL subsidiary ZAMA, Jan Grigor Schubert demonstrated in-depth knowledge of production and manufacturing, as well as excellent leadership qualities in an international environment. By recruiting this experienced manager, the important position could be filled from within the company.

Jan Grigor Schubert was born on 10 June 1966 in Gütersloh, Germany. He is married and has one child. After completing his studies in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, he began his professional career in 1990 as a production planner at Robert Bosch GmbH. From 1996 to 2011, he held various management positions at BSH Hausgeräte in Germany, China and Brazil. Since January 2012, Schubert has been the managing director of ZAMA, a wholly owned STIHL subsidiary that manufactures precision mechanical parts, carburetors and wire harnesses for motorised forestry and garden tools.
