Discover the secret behind the protective enclosure at our site in Langkampfen: this is where you’ll find our outdoor test bench for lawn mowers. The 1,000 square metre facility features three circuits for testing our lawn mowers, both petrol and battery-powered, around the clock.

The lawn mowers are equipped with various actuators and sensors to enable external and programmed operation of all functions such as drive, engine shutdown and speed. They are then mounted on guide gallows and complete laps of the obstacle course while being powered by external power sources or fuel tanks to ensure continuous testing.

Compared to conventional indoor test benches, our outdoor test bench circuit offers the advantage of a more realistic testing environment, taking into account external influences such as sun, rain and dirt. In addition, cornering creates additional stress that really puts the chassis, transmission and housing to the test.

The test bench allows us to carry out even more targeted testing and pay even more attention to our customers’ requirements during the development process.
