Where to meet young talents? At the careers fairs in 2023
STIHL Tirol is a production and development site for ground-based garden tools, a cordless product specialist and one of the top employers in the region. The company is growing steadily, both in terms of the number of employees and sales.
In order to stay on course for success in the future, we make it a priority to enable young talent to enter the job market and support them in developing their skills in the best way possible.
Meeting people at job and careers fairs is the best way for us to assess what young people value most when choosing an employer. For school and university graduates, on the other hand, it is an excellent opportunity to get an overview of the various positions and departments at STIHL Tirol and to find out what career opportunities are available.
In order to give as many young people as possible the chance to get to know us as a potential employer, we were represented at several events in spring 2023, including the Company Days held at the technical colleges HTL Anichstraße in Innsbruck and HTL Fulpmes, as well as the job fairs “Meet&Match” at Kufstein University of Applied Sciences, “IKORO” at Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences and “Career&Competence” at the University of Innsbruck. One highlight was the “Karriere Open Air” in Schwaz on 3 June 2023 – the largest careers fair in Tyrol with around 5,000 visitors – held in the fresh air on a bright sunny day.
